Temperance was a card I couldn't easily understand. The name and the imagery didn't make so much sense to me. I knew that it meant mixing until even and self-restraint, but it didn't click to me, though my last iteration was pretty.

I renamed it here to Moderation. Nothing in excess. It's a card that encourages us to step back, chill out, and balance ourselves so that we can think clearer. For this reinterpretation, I used my mafiasona Lune the bartender. Here he is in the middle of mixing a drink in his shaker. His eyes are closed as he pays attention to the movements in the shaker. The mixing together of the drinks represent the mixing of two extremes to form a more neutral and harmonious state. The closed eyes show meditation as how we do when we try to find compromises. The shaker represents the mind where all the tempering happens, before vocalizing your stand i.e. pouring the drink.

Around him are liquids depicted as day and night, symbolizing two extremes that are being mixed together. It also represents the mixture of intuition (night) with the conscience (day). The background is dusk which is the midpoint between night and day.
