Lovely picture - but no-one would ever mistake her for a man with a cleavage like that. And no sensible woman would go to battle wearing that. She's asking to be stabbed through the heart.

And? I mean, yeah it's not really realistic to wear that in a war but it's not like it's a real person wearing it- ready to rush off into war.
Artists who created the pictures like these know they are illogical from a realistic standpoint, but it is art and it is a little silly to comment on how it should be.
Just enjoy the time and effort it took to make the picture. They put a lot of time and skill in it, too much to get silly comments like "It's unrealistic" or "That's silly, no one would wear that". They deserve a little more credit than that.

This is an image created for a commission... the helmet, the sword are taken from the movie, and the corset is a request by the commissioner... You could imagine thing like that... This is a post battle scene, ok? I'm sorry this create such a reaction in you, it's just a piece of art... 😊

Well, you didn't know that this kind of corset is taken by celtic armour,and in my mind this isn't ridiculous. I think that there's nothing bad in the beauty of a woman. It's very sad your vision.

Also, I'm really not trying to start anything by this. But I just really hate it when people overlook actually good art in favor of crying something about women objectifying and being unrealistic. Because any form of art is supposed to be a form of expression and I feel those types of comments prevent some from seeing the actual picture passed 'he/she is objectifying women with this'
Not saying that's what you said, I know it isn't but that's my reasoning for why I commented on the first place.

I mean. It's art. And besides men are objectified as well, even though you may or may not see it often, they are as we. I for one have no issue with drawing women 'sexy' or 'mature' because I know that's all it is. Art. Now if it were some person in real life trying to force their 'appearance goals' onto a woman I wouldn't tolerate it. But again it is just art so I can appreciate it.
I do see your point in it, and I have no problem with disliking objectification. But the way I see it, it's a two way street. And in some cases like this one, it shouldn't really be a big issue.
Though I understand why people would find it to be.
