Been occupying myself with these lately, and finished team CRBN, so I figured I'd upload them al together!I'll upload all the headshots featured in these at some point as well.

Interesting, I'm chuckling to think of how she would react when her mist wouldn't affect one of my characters: Desmond, unless he falls asleep, of course, cause he's tired ALL the time

She'd frown, confused, but try to continue fighting anyway. Though given he is tired all the time it'd actually be more likely for him to fall asleep than to be immune for it, even if at the start it seem and/or feel like he's unnafected by it. Immunity for her semblance works more the other way around, those suffering from insomnia will take longer/more energy to be affected.

Well, I don't disagree, but I said it wrong, he's not tired all the time, he's just lazy, then again, that probably doesn't change anything, but when it starts, it'll take longer for him to slow down, as he fights in the easiest fashion available anyways.

cool, sorry for the slight confusion, so, it's kind of hard to predict who'd win, doesn't it? He can bash her unconscious very easily, but, if she's patient, and good enough at dodging, she can outlast him until he passes out from her semblance's effect, this is a problem for her because he really enjoys ending fights quickly.

Honestly I kind of doubt it that someone can bash an experienced aura user unconcious with a single blow. It would do a lot of damage, but never 1HKO her. That being said, just looking at her weapon should explain her fighting style. She has a huge ammount of speed dust, meaning that dodging and keeping distance is not an uneasy feat. The wind, ice and fire dust she has gives her a great arsenal of ranged attacks to use at that distance as well.
Most of her fighting style revolves around her waiting untill her semblance takes effect, and the best way to do that is by keeping opponents at bay by abusing her range, knowing that there aren't many powerhouses that also work on long distances to pose a threat.
That being said, like I said, a strong attack would still do a lot of damage, her physical defence is far from optimal. If someone's able to get in close range and manages to stay there, then Cal's in trouble, especially if they can disarm her, it leaves her with only the wind dust on her waist. Doing that however is harder than it sounds, though.

Im not saying he'd end it in one hit, Im just saying he has the clear advantage in physical attacks, if given too much time up close and personal, I doubt she'll last very long, and at distance, he has a minigun and is capable of dealing some heavy damage from a distance, too, but she could probably avoid it with her agility and it's lack of accuracy, Im saying the fight could go both ways

Hmmm... It's pretty silly story, actually.
So I loved RWBY enough to actually want to make an OC for it, and before actually looking into anything, I started imagining some stuff. I wanted to make a faunus, for sure...
And just like vast majority of the fandom (or any fandom), I fell in the trap of wolves, however after actually looking and how things were, I noticed there were a lot of them, so I didn't feel like making one anymore.
So I just hit google and looked up mammals, then going to the images tab and just browse. I was on par between a bat and a lemur (the latter one becoming Farran at a later date)
I settled for the bat(picked a species) and started doing research on bats in cultures and stuff, mainly some sort of diety to represent (though also taking other trivial things for her)
I ended up with the Native Amercan godess Evaki, goddess of bats, dreams, etc (you can read that in picture). I was like 'cool, that's really neat.' I chose purple because it's the color I personally associate most with dreams.
Then I looked for a name that represented the other parts of the godess. Her personality is based on what I found on the spirit animal of the bat. (Ancient notes of my team )
Then for her weapon I was looking for some sort of dust wand, something native american. At first I considered a skull but it didn't fit her, then I found a staff with a dreamcatcher on it and I facepalmed because it was so obvous yet I didn't think of it XD
Overall I can't help but Cal was just a series of fortunate events that turned her into one of my best (and most popular) OC's.Β Β
