While not suited for major combat this ship guards 93% of Mendoza's merchant fleet which is itself the largest in the system. This ship is designed to fight pirate and syndicate activity and is thus a favorite of police forces. Most convoys will only have one or two as escorts and it will suffice.

The beam weapons are powered by the ships main reactor and thus these ships have no ammunition costs.
