Decimate is the 13. theme on the list and it actually gave me a hard time figuring out what to draw, I ended up drawing Golden Raven (Curious note: I just realized that she's my only character with dual wielding skills, not counting Shiro, since she has blade fans xD).

I don't remember when I project took me so long to finish, no including animations though they take forever LOL. The file was created on February 24th, but knowing me I probably left to for like a month. I returned to it about three week ago and I was slowly finishing. Yes, like really slowly, today the skin, next day the hair and so on. I have no idea why some project take me so long, I guess I must have a certain mood or motivation for each project I'd like to know.

But returning to the drawing itself. I kinda created an extremely random background. Seriously. I just started painting the sky, then thought about hills, then blood path and kept on going. That was a weird experience. I was changing the brushes so often that I don't remember which exactly I used. I was more like, I don;t care anymore. All I wanted was to finally finish this piece, since I'm in the middle of a video project "A new Hope". What about the "We don't talk anymore" one. I do know, why you asking me? Go ask my inspiration, oh and while your at it give it a good kick of motivation from me I'm in need of one.

Anyways, I don't want to start wining about this weird mood I'm in. I guess I'm just tired from all the work and that always affects my drawings. But hey! This one looks cool, despite all the awful mistakes I made and the horrible shading (which for your information I was too lazy to fix)

You're also probably wondering why her cape's on fire, right? Well, I have no f*cking idea! Consider it an artist 'frolic', I just felt like drawing the cape on fire but gave up halfway, what results in the cape having these weird looking flame that don't look at fire. I kinda feel like an idiot now....Yeah.

Let's move on to the story. Well I wanted to show Raven the world "through her eyes". Because of her mind, which from one side makes her a hard opponent to defeat and e skilled strategist, from the other the fast that she "sees more" makes her realize things quickly. She knows what true nature most people have and when things go down, it's hard to keep yourself together. She knows what people are capable of and she considers the world broken. Surprisingly she hates red, she just got use to it because of all the blood she has on her hands.

But despite it, Raven loves fighting. She always did and has a hard time admitting it. She was raised and born on a battlefield, which is why she feels most comfortable on, even during a war. Yet, when there's no fight or battle she's in, she's lost and can't find herself. One of the reason why she never stops fighting is because of Third, each time the she slows down Third's wrath grows louder.

Raven's a skilled girl, it's not wise to get in her way, but there's also something about her that most people like. (I didn't come up with it, I just noticed it from both creators and characters x) ). Despite the fact that the world in her eyes is corrupted, Raven always had this desire to learn from it and to learn how to be human. This is why she makes friends and why she gets angry when things go wrong, it always makes her realize the truth and the fact that she's constantly lying to herself. As you see, Raven's problem lies within her. It's herself. And in order to understand that you must go on a trip into her past and see what she saw.
