Description
Realizing I didn't have a decent-and-recent picture of my original character, Marina, I decided to whip one up over the course of the day.You can see from this that her basic body build is actually more on the average side. My girlfriend and I were talking earlier today about some styles where the feminine figure is hypersexualized to a point where it crosses over into the realm of caricature and even grotesque... I personally don't want to fall into that category.
It should be noted that Marina represents a general upper limit for breast size when it comes to my characters, barring proportion distortion.

Love the realism in her proportions... fantasy can be fun, but sometimes you need characters who look like you could meet them in real life
Her build very closely resembles a couple girls i've known, although her legs are less muscular than on either of them....

Oh, the curves are there, it's just that it's mostly hidden by her breasts. Maybe one of these days I'll throw up a sketch with transparent boobs >_>
I guess that's one of the motivations for creating a highly emphasized hourglass figure, to get the boobs out of the damn way.
