I think she is one of my fav princess on Disney`s movies.I like to draw her, she is so Beauty.

She is way different than your average Disney Princess.

-she's a princess only because of a loophole
-her dream is to work hard, NOT to fall in love
-she works hard to achieve her dreams
-she belongs to an opressed minority
-she has dignity
-she is annoyed by annoying characters
-she sings jazz and soul
-she hates the whole "my only goal in life is to marry a prince and live happily ever after" mentality
-she's smart
-she's a very realistic character, she's someone who acts like a real-life human being
-she doesn't need to wack someone in the head with a frying pan to prove that she's tough and resourceful
-she fought an actual villain (meaning, no "the villain is her mother who was accidentally turned into a ferocious animal and she defeats her with the power of love" bullshit)
-her tears are just that, tears. They don't have magical powers.
-she doesn't need a Pink song to convey the fact that she's a feminist princess
-she doesn't need super-special hair powers to convey the fact that she's a feminist princess
-she started cooking in order to follow her dreams, she didn't do it to spite her father or spite her society
-she hadn't spent all of her life living in a tower (meaning, she's not spoiled or sheltered)
-when someone in her movie dies, they stay dead
-she actually changed Naveen for the better, she didn't go "weee! I'm so happy to finally see the world and to finally fall in love that I'm gonna overlook the negative qualities my boyfriend has!"
-if you cut her hair...her hair is cut. And that's it.

Haven't seen the movie yet but I have bought the soundtrack and I can say by the songs in it, Tiana is the strongest disney princess (in my opinion that is.) I love her <33

I for one am looking forward to this movie.
If it means a return to traditional animation and perhaps another 'Golden of Age of animation' like Disney did with 'The Little Mermaid and The Lion King' then by all means go for it!!
I hope this movie succeeds so I can see another age like that.
And I like her different moods here. Tiana is starting develop more personality so I get to know her character a little more.
