Hmm... I actually have been working on this piece for about 8 months. It changed a lot over the time. I tried many different interesting techniques on it. There are parts that seem to not belong together, element of different styles like the top right corner for example, but I think the fusion of the elements was successful.For once, I knew the title for it from the stage when I was building the texture - The story of two moons. And it it those two circles that the composition is built around.
I got to the point where I didn't touch it for almost half a year, still feeling like something is missing, but not knowing what.

Also, the texture for this piece got a DD on my other account, that was very exciting! It's a stock account with bunch of texture and still life photos that are great for practice =]

Your painting makes me think of cricket... I mean, the ball is right there, flying through the air, Β stitches and everything, Β and theres the green of the pitch and the blue of the summer sky...

I love the light that emerges from this painting, the white reminds me clouds.
