Being the only girl of the group, she has a bit of a complex when it comes to starting fights in order to look and act tough. On top of her lack of estrogine and increased testosturoune levels, she has a very short fuse and is easily irritated and provoked. Zo will often get under her skin with his avalanche of pestering questions, which will cause her to snap at him, thus causing her inevitable scuffles with Magi. Her temper is so insanely scary that even thick-skulled Jaws knows he needs to keep his distance when she's in a mood.

History: When Moe was on her way to the second gym in the Johto region, she crossed through a fairly long patch of tall grass. In her midst of tredding through it, she accidently stepped on a napping Mareep's tail, causing the panicked Svenka to shock the crap out of Moe. Rather than running back to her flock like a normal Mareep would do, Svenka turned around and aggressively began to egg for a fight, not letting Moe pass until she battled her. Deciding that the only way to get through this was to fight Svenka, she brought out Jaws and after a rough battle, decided to catch Svenka as an addition to her team. Since then, Svenka has had one goal and one obsession only: to win not only all her battles, but all of Moe's approval as well. She's so devoted to Moe, that she becomes obscenely jealous of a young Zo when Moe starts paying more attention to him than her.

He's highly affectionate and understanding, known to try and cheer Moe up when she's down by giving her a big, coiled squeeze! (Even though that tends to suffocate her rather than help her...) Cyprus generally likes to sit in the background and watch the group play and train, but when things get heated, he knows how to step in and end it. When he's in referee mode, everyone knows not to question or oppose his opinion, because his inner, rage-induced nature will come forth through a smoldering, intimidating glare. Such cases are frequent when Magi and Svenka go at it. Cyprus used to be the one to babysit Zo at first, but when Moe needed him for more and more battles, he gave the chore to Magi.

History: Cyprus was found PMSing on the Lake of Rage, causing torrents of rain and storms in his mysterious frustration. Some trainers watched him thrash about in the water from the shore, including Moe. The crowd saw that Moe's Jaws knew Surf and asked her to brave the water and try and calm the enraged, shiny Gyarados. She reluctantly agreed, swimming out into the tossing waves to try and figure out what the problem was. After being thrashed around by the waves caused by Cyprus's tantrum, she finally figured out what was wrong: he had a fairly large shard of a log stuck under his tail. After Jaws dislodged the piece with his crushing teeth, Cyprus was instantly calmed and happy, cuddling up to Moe in gratitude. He even followed her back to shore! Seeing he wanted to follow her, Moe caught Cyprus, and he has ever since been a valuable part to Moe's party.

He, as well as Svenka, does not like Zo so much, because Zo is actually the only one in Moe's party (other than Jaws,) who can never understand what he's trying to say. Magi often has to save Zo from a ruffled Lyze, who will in tern reprimand Magi for not properly educating Zo. His hidden arrogance is only apparent when he loses his temper. Lyze is generally the one who keeps Jaws focused on a task and makes sure he's pulling his weight. (And he keeps him out of trouble, at that...)

History: At the start of Moe's journey in the Johto region, she was exploring a little outside New Bark Town, only to get lost in the dead of night within the small woods. Scared and nervous with Jaws at her side, they wandered around aimlessly, trying to find their way back to New Bark. Lyze watched them walk in circles for a while before taking pity and hopping down right in front of them. Using his glowing eyes as a flashlight, Lyze guided the pair back to the town, finding berries along the way to help a wounded Jaws pull through. After being safely returned to New Bark, Moe asked Lyze if he'd help be a guide to her budding team. Pride overflowing him, Lyze was more than happy to agree. As he's grown, some of his pride has gotten to his head, but he still does his job when it comes to keeping Jaws focused!

Personality: The laziest, laid-back, loafer you have ever seen. He's care-free and it takes him little effort for him to wipe the floor with someone, but that's for the best, because he's so huge and strong, he could probably make buildings collapse if he actually used all his energy to do something. Jaws can come off as clueless and even stupid sometimes, but he's not, it's just that the rest of the team is just so high-strung and more serious about their job than he is. Most of the time Jaws is found overdosing on his Z's, or daydreaming whilst floating in a body of water. Svenka and Lyze are generally appalled by his lack of motivation, but when he actually does get off his lazy butt to fight, everyone is astounded by his amazing (and normally KO) strength. Whenever he had Zo-baby-sitting duty, Zo was always able to ditch him easily because Jaws would fall asleep or would just forget he was watching him to begin with. Jaws likes to hang out with Cyprus and Magi in his abundant free time, occaisonally entertaining Zo with his stories and jokes. He talks with a surfer slang.

History: A lover of all Johto Pokemon, choosing her starter for her journey was like a life-or-death desicion for Moe. Seeing that most of her friends were picking Cyndaquil, and that she'd look too prissy with a Chikorita, She finally decided to go with the Toadadile. She named him "Jaws" after observing his enormous teeth and seeing him often enough sharpen them by snapping fairly thick branches like toothpicks between them. However, his brutish name didn't rub off on his nature very much... But, she thinks his slacker attitude adds a certain charm to him. Moe gets a bit distressed every now and then because of the intricate and sometimes violent relationships within her team and the constant badgering they give each other, but Jaws is always there to reassure her confidence through his amazing battles, and knows just what goofy or lovable thing to do to make her smile. Out of her Johto party, Moe and Jaws are the most alike and connect the best as friends.

Under his talkative nature, however, he hides a deep sadness and loneliness caused by his early separation from his parents. After he starts opening up to Magi, he begins to cling to him and try to make the Arcanine proud of him like a son would a father. As soon as he evolves and wins Magi's praise and affection, he becomes much more mild and contented, also earning the respect he never had from the rest of the team. With a lot of arduous training and perserverance, he has become a very strong and reliable asset to Moe's party.

History: He was separated from his parents when he was very young because he was the runt of the litter and his owners didn't believe he would survive. However, Moe's long-time friend, Bill, found Zo and nursed him to a proper weight. When Moe and Bill ran into each other by chance, Bill asked if she would be interested in raising an Eevee. Excited and eager, she adopted Zo into her team, hoping that having such a big responsibility in the group would force her team to work together, something that they've struggle with since day one. But this does not work, as they begin to shove all the baby-sitting duties upon Magi, the only one who seemed to have the patience and time to look after Zo. Seeing that none of the team was very impressed with him, Zo began to feel outcasted and lonelier. When Magi notices and begins paying more close attention to him, Zo begins to open up and talk about his feelings. Magi's consoling was just the thing he needed, because since then, Zo's wanted nothing more than to be just as good as Magi, so he can defend and prove himself to everyone else. Zo finally gets his dream-come true when he totally dominates in the struggle against the Eilte Four. Moe is insanely proud of Zo's speedy growth, and dotes upon him constantly.

Magi was generally aloof and had the aura of a strict military seargant, making him inapproachable to all but Svenka. However, he didn't realize how blinded he was by his own arrogance until Zo came into the team. After becoming more responsible for Zo's well-being, a father-like instinct opened up inside Magi, and he realized that it's not all about winning, that's there's more to life than just that. After this dawning, Magi becomes a bit more open with his emotions, and learns to let go and have a bit more fun with his battles. He's a very skilled teacher, and unlike Svenka and Lyze, has an abundance of patience. When infuriated, however, he can get quite nasty and aggressive.
