I am studying the mental effects of empathy and the possibility of empathic powers. I am going to use this picture to invoke feelings of pain in possible empaths and try to get the same reactions out of people who are less empathetic. This is the story that came to my mind: A young girl, probably between 7 and 9 years old. She's beautiful, she precious, with a beautiful home, and a loving family. But all of that, stripped away from her, all that she ever knew, taken by another human being, that she'll consider a monster in the future.
She walked silently to her mother's corpse, she had no idea what was going on, she heard bodies fall to the floor, she remained quiet, she heard the door open and close, she did nothing. Only remain in peace, the innocence of her mind could have never fully understood what happened at the moment, after all, she was just a child. Standing up, she walked out of her peaceful house, which now held the horrors of how far can human nature can come, and she searched for someone to help her family, of course she didn't know it would be to no avail.
Blood stained imprints were left by her on the dirty path she would follow when picking up berries for her mother, or when she accompanied her father to learn about tougher tasks, the ones given to the male. The pretty white dress, stained with dirt, her beautiful blue orbs, somehow managed to turn into empty, cold voids, that still held pureness in them.
In the end, she was too pure, too innocence, for the atrocities, the horrors, she just witnessed before her eyes.

To be honest, it reminds me of a scenario I've heard of in some folk lore, and even in movies: walking until your feet bleed. I like it.
