thnx......a lot of people say that.....but it's hard to really go on, even with all the support from others, it dims in comparison when you want just that one person who's like your pillar in your life to support you as well.

Ever since I was 4 I've wanted to be a vet, it's only been in the past four years that I've been leaning more towards the art field. ....My mom still wants me to be a vet. She doesn't care about my art, she finds it more of a hobby, a child's way of entertainment.

I mean, imagine if you had your own clinic, you could paint it up an draw murals an all kinds of stuff! I bet people would commission you to draw their pets, too. xD

she's supportive in her own way. She's done a lot for me, which I'm so blessed to have her as a mother. But she doesn't care for art, probably cause she doesn't understand it. She supports me with school, and she's glad I'm taking singing lessons. But whenever college comes up or my future, somehow I mess up and she starts hounding me about how I'm not going to make it as an artist and all this other crud. It pisses me off, the last time she overstepped the bounds and I didn't talk to her much for three days. What gets under my skin the most is that five minutes after all this she'll come back all smiling and happy like nothing's wrong, like she didn't practically stab me in the chest, and everything's fine.
*sigh* if most kids do whatever they want, which now and days they do, the world would be in chaos and they'd be doing all sorts of crap. lol I know that's not exactly what you meant when you said that, just had to though.
But no, I might, then I might not, I don't like failure, I don't like making others upset, and I'm sure if I end up going with art it would really hurt her. She's had a rough life growing up, and I know she has regrets on not going further with her life, although that's not a good excuse to do what she's doing. I know she doesn't want me to be a starving artist, and she want's what's best for me. But I guess she's not seeing the whole picture.

Ah, I guess that makes sense! But you can't always take others into account, you have to do what would make you yourself happy. You'll only live once so do something you know you won't regret saying you did!
