I'm always impressed by your lighting techniques! Good stuff for a quickie!

I'm not sure if it's just me or what, but I'd swear your chair is floating slightly...

I agree with TomerM. You do some great work in realism, but I would really like to see some of the characters animated in these environments.

I agree about the guitar's material being well, unrefined? And the noise is just a matter of time (rendertime), but it looks like you're getting the hang of Maxwell! How do you like using it?

Well, it's amateurish, impossibly easy and excruciatingly slow. I'm old school and prefer control over every element - predefined by the settings that I create.
But, I have the computing power and thought I'd give it a whirl. I'll be going back to VRay as a professional lighting app by time the weekends out.
Thanks for looking.

Aye, I like some of the results I've seen from Maxwell, but couldn't (professionally) afford it's limitations. I'll stick to Mental Ray for awhile still, myself! Perhaps Vray is easier, but just like you I need more control, not less.

The bottom part of the chair is missing some shaders, there is some noise in the darker parts, and the leafs could use a little bit of thickness.
You always do a great job with achieving realism in your 3D renders, regardless of the renderer.
