so this was voted for in my recent poll as the winner in the 2 day open time of the poll. This is what i came up with some Rathalos and wroggi armour goodness. I gave the hunter the blazing falchion cause that is what i used the first time around not realizing a fire weapon wouldn't kill a fire monster...derp xDRelated content

At first, I thought the Rathalos was helping the hunter create a fireplace setting up camp. Still, painting is amazing! Great job. Β

Excellent work, this is epic!
About a element weapon vs a same element monster it would still kill them the element may not but the raw damage will.
I've killed lots of monsters with same element weapons, on the Ultimate demo I slayed the Plesioth with the Ceadus switch axe.
But still this is awesome work!

yeah I always equip weapons that are the monsters weakness now, after that rather derpy moment xD tri was my first monster hunter game so naturally I was just awful at it but tri ultimate is going muuuch better I haven't failed a quest yet 40 hours in

great piece, though if I might say one thing, I think if the rathalos was shooting the camera directly towards us it would make for a even stronger piece.

possibly the problem there though if it was too direct, it might obscure the rest of the image, and i always like the camera looking in on a scene rather than being part of it

wow that's really a super cool dragon! the head and scales are very well done. and I really like the fire. you did the warrior very well too. and the colors and background are amazing. awesome pic!
