The Skeleton of Tomorrow(Sci-fi story set up concept, inspired by this digital image.)
A woman and a man are standing at the railing of an ocean going vessel.
They look out on the rough night sea, getting soaked with rain and sea water.
The woman turns toward the man.
"We aren't really here right now!" She shouts over the noise of the storm.
"What?" The man shouts.
"We didn't make it..."
Hearing her wrongly, the man replies.Β
"Sure we'll make it! I've seen worse storms than this!"
"No! I mean we..." She is cut off by a catastrophe.Β
A lightning bolt strikes the front of the ship.
To both of them, the ocean and the storm and the night disappear.
The man and woman face eachother on the deck of the ship.
All is calm, the desert sun is high. The sailing vessel stands upright in a vast wasteland.
The woman walks closer to the man.
"We didn't make it that night, we made it much further."
The man looks at the sudden and perfect stillness all around him and instinctively reaches for her han

I think the color is what really got me, the blue made wasteland and ocean seem to meet together.
