They landed on this distant world in search for existence of extraterrestrial lifeforms,
but what they had saw is beyond their wishlist.Maybe it is what, we believed to be known as "Aries"
"Pegasus" "White horse" or even "Sleipnir- the eight legged horse ", but they named it " White Noise "

What would it feed on?I'm guessing filter-feeding on entire flocks of whatever the local equivalent of birds are. Possibly the four circular orifices atop its head function in concert with the mouth in a manner somewhat like water being swallowed through a fish's mouth and passing out through its gills, but with the addition of sticky baleen lining the passages between the mouth and orifices to serve like living flypaper?

I get the idea it is almost gaseous or perhaps a projected thing and possibly much bigger than that hill. It could be in orbit for all I know and as big as a moon. Perhaps it appears and disappears with the seasons. That's what really makes this interesting.

See, it's almost amoeba-like next to very arthropod-esque, like many bacteria. The problem with certain aliens is that they're either too human, too animalistic or too ordinary or plain. This I look at and go... huh. There are shapes and appendages that look bizarre but never constrictive or entirely impossible, and the head is especially intriguing. I think you've captured PERFECTLY what an alien life form should appear as. Wonderful job, 10/10 on creative realism.
