Ah, I always liked that emulsion. Most people I know use the NC for portraits.

i bought a lot of vc film for my trip in india, but it was hard to think in a square format, i dont know why. and i bring that film back and use it now for sessions. nc is also good and more gentle in colours of course
but i really love all kind of film
