It's a late gift but here's one I made for who had his birthday last weekend! I remember there was a drawing of 401 Surfing and I loved it so much! But I still imagined trying out 401 for the first time... Surfing is something 401 loves and much like my OC, I'm pretty sure 401 may have some decent skills that could go well with it. But still, had a fun idea for his [belated] birthday gift that 401 is also a Professional Surfer!

The original surfboard was actually inspired from a commission Marek got from Karckade (this artist is no longer on DeviantArt but you can find her on Instagram; but no longer drawing Sonic Characters anymore). Because the surfboard only shows the bottom part, the only way to imagine what the whole surfboard would look like was to design it myself, and I decided to bring a whole new spin on it ^^ (with some cues from Surfboards used at M&S at Tokyo) and the ones I've made as well! Same with the wetsuit, which also pays nods to 401's design, with a special flare to it ^^

It was so fun working on it and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I had making it!
