Yes, and it's been annoying as heck since Skylanders was first revealed with haters spouting and bawwing over video games they don't have to look at or play.

Alright, as someone who grew up with the classic series, I have a few things to say about Skylanders.
1. This Spyro isn't that bad. I mean don't get me wrong, I still think he looks like a purple, four-legged gremlin, but other than that, he actually reminds me a little bit of the classic Spyro. For one, his voice actually sounds a bit like the old Spyro, whereas in Legend of Spyro all I heard was Elijah Wood's voice instead of Spyro's. Second, is his personality. He has his cocky ego back and I love it.
2. I like the setting. Those floating sky islands reminds me of the levels in the classic series (there's just something awesome about bottomless pits, y'know?).
3. The humor is very good. I think I actually laughed more times watching the skylander commercials than I did through the entire Legend of Spyro series.
So, yeah, I may hate the design (I mean, seriously, I never thought that modeling Spyro's snout would be such a problem through the series), but I don't hate this Spyro or the game. In fact, I'm actually glad that this game exists, along with having a cool concept, it's also keeping Spyro on the map by bringing in the big bucks. I mean, when DISNEY starts copying you, you know you're still in business. And hopefully someday there will be a revisit to the classics.

First of all. I'm 15 years old and the old spyro design looked back then adorable XD. Now he looks like a goblin that would devour children, and the WHOLE Spyro story is rejected and gotten rid of because of the new game.
I assume you must be below 13 that you do not have the same thoughts on pokemon today as someone that grew up at the time pokemon just started. Or someone that was around My little Pony back then than someone that watches Friendship Is Magic.
Everyone has there opinions and I'll express mine. I think the new legend of Spyro sucks and it isn't what it use to be and I'll miss the old ones dearly. (You do not have to be an old grandma to like something old.)
