Description
In my dreams I ride on dragons
Of fire and moonlight,
Blood-red and silver white.
In my dreams
I dance with fairys
In the summer's warmth
under the full moons light
In my dreams I am
Not the short one,
second-best with my health problems.
I do not compete endlessly with those
Of full soft lips, and fragile bones sliding
Smoothly under untainted skin.
In my dreams my dragons and I,
soar through pink and gold clouds ,
and under the blue green seas
where merefolk live and play in peace
Our sun is hidden beyond
The mountains in the distance.
Those tall towers
With words carved into them,
Words I cannot read from this distance.
Words carved by giants and dwarves
long lost to this world where my dragons live.
We fly higher and higher,
Away from tainted soil.
away from any cares this world could give
When the sun rises on earth
I'll return to the real world,
and wont return to my dragons
till the sun is gone
Then I will fall into bed and fly again.
And I pity those of this world
because though beautiful they may be,
They have never touched my dragons.
