My desire is to see this series finally conclude. The finale would consist of Ash and Misty finally admitting their love - and a montage of photos showing them growing up, eventually getting married and the epilogue - would be their child setting out on their own journey with Pikachu, while their parents watch.
Also, I would like to see Ash's own father - who has been confirmed as a trainer on his own journey somewhere. Though, exactly where he is - no one knows. The Developers said they won't introduce him until the story is finally right.
