I wasnt sure which category to place this under, so I chose Portraits. lol. I always put things in fantasy so I thought id have a lil change ^_^Yep, I was inspired again last night
I was looking through stock on da, and i always end up at the same place. Lucias-Stock is just so beautiful. I get lost in her eyes and every time she submits new stock pics my imagination goes mental!I think shes gona start thinking im creepy cause I keep on drawing her
(Im not a freak.. dont worry.. well I am, but im a freak in a good way ^_^)I did this in one night. I started when Neighbours was on, 6:30pm and i finished about 10 mins ago. time now is 11:28pm.
Im happy with how it turned out. I think im getting a bit better with skin tones and stuff, but im still crap with hair and lips. Thankfully i didnt have to worry about lips this time ^_^

i have a little pink wacom graphire tablet.
they are great! i have the smallest cheapest one in their range, but i mean, it can do anthing i want it to!

i just got a new laptop! (mostly for college, but now because my computer died)
and im so exited at the fact that it has enough memory for me to download photoshop, psp, corel painter, and adobe illustrator all at once! (illegally, i might add, but that's of little importance ^.^)
I really want to be able to expand my ability of doing digital artwork, so I'm glad to hear that you can do so much great stuff with the supposedly "low end" wacom (jeesh, they'll do just about anything to get you to buy a more expensive one)
If you can do all of your amazing artwork on a small graphire, then by george, I can at least scribble out my cartoon images a little faster! hehe.

I love it! I've always had a fascination with drawing eyes for some strange reason. I really like this, I like the sparklys (who doesn't love sparklys? lol) and her fluttery eyelashes. Its so cool. Once again: How the heck do you DO this stuff? How did you get into digital art by the way?? I'd like to try but its all so strange to me! Anyway, love it!!!!

hehe, ok, heres how i do things digitally:
I use a program called Photoshop 7. Its pretty much for like.. digital maniplation and stuff like that.
I also use a Wagom Graphire tablet. This is a thing, like a pen, that you use to draw on the computer. It acts like a mouse, but its ALOT easier to draw with. They can be really expenvive, but I got a cheapo little one that only cost be 130 bucks.. and its PINK which makes it even cooler
Then, i start drawing! Lately i have been raiding peoples stock photos for inspiration cause i find it alot more relaxing when im working from an image. I dont have to worry about making up the proportions and worrying if things look right, cause I got the real pic right there! ^_^
It takes a while to get used to the tablet, so if u get one have fun fiddling around with it instead of trying to do something serious for a first time. I made that mistake and it took me bloody ages to get back into it!
alls i can say is, GOOD LUCK! and if you do try ur hand at some digi pics, dont forget to show me ^_^

I have Photoshop 7 but the most I do is touch up traditional pics in it (like make things shinier, heh), and I dont have a tablet - maybe one day I'll get one, or bribe my sis to get one - shes a graphic designer, heh. So its just sorta like drawing traditionally? Well I guess it wouldnt be really, but I dont know, dont you have to use heapsa layers and all that? Maybe I should just get a photoshop manual! I would like to try some digi, theres so much awesome digi art out there.

Nice textures on the skin, and I like her long, stringy hair! I also really like her sparkly eyeshadow- you are getting quite good with the sparkly/ glittery effect! And of course those are very "eye-catching!"
