I agree with you, it's not top quality and to me, lacksΒ some depth.Β I'm hoping that one day I will shot it with my "real" cameraΒ and not have it be from the cell phone camera that you see here.Β Great eye Brenn!

Thanks! Its the underneath of a huge tree that got washed up in the bay. It was at least 5 feet high laying on its side.

I wonder if the wood is sliceable meaning could someone still make say a wooden box out of it. Or would the mineralization of it dull the saw blade and make it useless?

Best to start with a large chainsaw. Β I suppose a person could do wooden boxes. Β Bear in mind that in reality, you might not get these same colors out of it with like a glossy varnish. Β For example, a lot of green tones is algae and you might loose the clay out of it if it's cut up.
