About Dream Bottles:

The world of Cakie!™ is separated from ours by Fantaria, the dream realm. While there is only one portal to Fantaria from Cakie!™, located in the Dream Tree where Cakie herself resides, there are limitless pathways from earth. While someone in our world is sleeping, they open a temporary portal between Fantaria and earth. Dreams of the pure hearted create portals that allow goodly creatures to pass through, while the not so pure hearted may allow less savory characters. However, since there are billions of portals open at any given time, and Fantaria is a land of perpetual twilight and fraught with many dangers, it is often difficult for the creatures of Cakie!™ to find their way to their adoptive human parents.

To combat this, Cakie created Dream Bottles, magical glass pendants that guide the young ones in safety. To utilize a Dream Bottle, prospective parents must place it under their pillow while they are sleeping. The imbued magic will guide their dreams into the bottle and seal them tight, then the entire bottle will dissipate back to Cakie before they awake. This bottle is then tied around the neck of the intended adoptee, and they are sent into Fantaria. Once in the dream realm, the dreams within the bottle resonate with the matching portal, creating a beam of light directly connecting the two. With this light and the protective magic on the bottle, the young creatures will surely find their way home.

However, Dream Bottles are only capable of guiding one creature at a time, and the magic fades away as soon as they leave Fantaria. So every adoptee requires a new Dream Bottle. The bottles are also made with various grades of magic, because the weaker ones take less time and energy to produce, they are more cost efficient for parents on a budget. But since creatures of Cakie!™ have varying amounts of magic in their core, stronger bottles are required for more powerful auras, as the weaker glass will shatter when attempting to pass into Fantaria. Currently there are seven types of Dream Bottles, and they are all purchasable here, at the Dream Tree.
