Before painting, I put little dots of masking fluid on the paper (it keeps the area clear of paint/colour), and then I painted it, and rubbed the dried masking fluid off. It's also called liquid frisket. For details, I went at it for hours with a white gel pen LOL!

Hello to you! I have been a bit of a stranger on these dA shores lately. I'm working on a lot of art right now, so should have more to post soon. ^_^
Yup, I am thinking about changing my wing style. The other one is too close to some other faerie artists out there, and I want to do something unique to me.

Aww that's okay. I feel bad that I haven't seen you guys in a while too. I've been so busy trying to get these businesses up and running that I'm finding little time to do much else. I hope Christmas season is worth all the work.. *fingers crossed*
Looks like I'm going to possibly be getting a newish computer next weekend, so that's a plus! 
I bet your writing is really coming along! How many chapters have you written so far? I admire your hard work and dedication. Keep it up and I'm sure you'll be published one day soon.

I want to get a Christmas pudding plush done. Plus I owe you a melon and I have someone who is trading me a book for her plushes. I'm also planning on doing mock up plushes of my characters.If I have success with that,construction-wise, then I'm going to do one for another authoress of her OC.
As far as writing goes, I 'm on chapter 6. The women finally make an appearance! So yes I don't have a testosterone heavy story!

I haven't sold any art yet on Etsy LOL, but I have sold a bit of jewellery. In a few days I should be getting in a new shipment of pendant settings/bezels, like the cameos but simpler in design. I'm going to be getting 200 of them LOL! Lots of painting ahead!
So far my most poplar items seem to be those ear cuffs. I'm very surprised by that, as it was something I was just playing around with and put on etsy alongside my regular earrings. I have more fun making the ear cuffs (because I can be as creative and crazy with the design as I want to be) and people seem to like them! 
I can't wait to see your character plushes and my big melon hehe! That guy was so cute. But take your time, I know you're very busy! Congratulations on reaching chapter six! That's amazing! I hope one day to reach past chapter one LOL!

They are fun and unusual. But it also gives people who don't have pierced ears a chance to wear ear jewelry.
