whee. it is 's bday tomorrow (26 on the 26th thankyouverymuch) and i am actually early with her pic! which makes me very happy because i generally feel like a total jackass when i'm late with bday pictures.

anyhoo, it is her character Niicuu who is friends with my Eny. i love doing her hair. it is so curly and wavy and fun. i do not, however, love starting a picture in real media, then realizing the pencil i need to shade the entire body with is exactly 2 inches long. always plan ahead, kids. a fun sidenote is that the lighter blue used to shade her body is the colored pencil version of the light blue in her hair. both 'Cloud Blue' by prismacolor. they clearly put a lot of effort into making sure their colors match properly. and i hope everyone just thinks that's a texture on her dress and doesn't realize the marker died. er.
