You put so much effort and detail in your characters, I think that you don't need any special background. It's possible that something more than a simple background would only distract the eye.
I think I see some Alice in Wonderland: a mix of Alice and the Mad Hatter. I love her stocking with the clocks on it - I want those!
You drew this in only 15 minutes? I wish I was that good. It makes me want to draw again...

this is my Alice))i did sketch in 15 minutes-whole picture took about 3 ours i guess.
sometimes i spend hours drawing in pencil...like i did with absinth. sometimes i have an idea and just have to put in on paper!
