Build: His three legs have grown some muscle, especially the front one, to compensate for the lack of the other one, his cheeks, neck, rear and tail are fluffy and his talk has gotten longer too. His paws also got bigger and his nails are short, especially the ones on his front leg. He's overall frown bigger and taller. The scars on his stump are still visible and the remain is thinner than the other legs.
After his mother's sudden death, Sunrise is overwhelmed by grief, he's been skipping meals despite his friends bringing him some, so he lost a great amounth of weight and he's noticiably thin, his ribs are showing and his fur is thinner. He rarely interact with the pack and is mourning Tieru, always with a sad expression. He might also have red/pink ringed eyes for much crying.
Sunrise was able to overcome the loss of his mother and has grown into a fine adult. He's no more underweight.

Sunrise is definitely not a static individual, he’s quite resourceful, able to find a way out or a better way to do things that were rather difficult at the beginning. Probably having to deal with the loss of a limb gave a boost to this ability.

His mother's sudden passing, following him being alone without her, had really broken Sunrise. Everything looks in monochrome to him, food tastes of nothing, he doesn't really feel thirst or hunger and he doesn't feel like he needs anyone's company. His mind is only set in grief mode. He began to let himself go, nothing seems to bring joy over his life, all he wants is to get his mother back, though he's aware that's impossible.

Cynical
Not fairytales, not high hopes, not sweet dreams and sugar coated ideas, Sunrise wants facts and this view isn’t always as positive and good as some might instead thought. He isn’t meant to be rude but can sometimes pass as one due to the replies he might give but it’s just his way of seeing things, given all he’s been through, you surely can’t blame him. It’s possible that he might apologize later, if he realizes he might have gone too hard while sharing his view.

Haunted
Sunrise could be having the time of his life, being the happiest he’s ever been, feeling so good, with a light mind and heart but the memories of the episode he was victim of will always be in the back of his head, a shadow that keeps following him everywhere, ready to break his mood and spirit in every occasion. His thoughts will inevitably fall back to that event. after Tieru's death, this trait increased a lot, it wasn't about his accident anymore but regarding his mother's sudden passing that now is a constant thought over his mind.

Pre-Group History:
Pre-birth
Glenug was a pack that craved power and respect but that had little experience in how to gain so, in how to treat its members, in how to co-exist peacefully in a territory that saw not only theirs but other packs as well. Glenug wolves wanted to be the best, the most beautiful, the strongest warriors but were seen as vain creature, too busy putting scented flowers on their fur to realize what their pack truly needed. The other packs isolated them and how to blame them? If they seeked aid of any kind from Glenug, they would be often blocked and forced to go back because one of them had tangled fur or showed scars on their skin, all things that the pack hated and didn’t want their lands to be contaminated with such filth. And, when it was Glenug that needed help, now it was their turn to be turned down. Why must others help those who kept refusing aid for the most superficial reasons? Their protests and tears meant nothing for those who had seen the door being shut in their faces for too long. Very well, who needed those useless and unfancy neighboring packs anyway. Sentinels were chosen among the most resistant and fast members and sent out to find new possible allies that might fit more their standards. All the sentinels returned, their trip uneventful. All but one. This wolf risked his life, climbing a mountain and slipping, falling down hard, breaking a leg. A pack aided him, just for the time he would get better. The pack was very different from Glenug, it followed a solid social status, they had a regal look and knew how to behave. They were also at war. To thank the pack for their help, the wolf promised Glenug would send some of their wolves to aid them n the war and also a pup, as a gift, to establish an alliance. The pack leader and council just chuckled, they heard this wolf’s description of Glenug and they could see no good coming from it but the poor fellow took that chuckle as a sign of agreement and bolted home to give the fantastic news.
Initially excited, many wolves volunteered to go help their new ally only to scatter, unaware of their pack, once they realized they were about to face a raging war, too coward to risk their lives like that. Back in Glenug, sure that their warriors had reached the friend’s territory, they began discussing about the pup to send. They tried to imitate the ally’s ways, dividing their pack in classes only by preferences and likings, not by true status granted at birth. So, those in charge where the most vain and arrogant that treated all the inferior ones as slaves and unworthy creatures. The upper class was made mostly by the same family and who was better than them to produce a worthy pup? Only that they didn’t count how many genetic problems can present offspring if you inbreeding happens. In fact, the puppies that arrived that season were all stillborn, sickly or didn’t grow into strong and beautiful individuals. What kind of alliance could be forged from a frail looking pup? Nothing good for sure. So, they tasked all the female to produce the perfect pup to give in the name of the alliance. And so the years passed. The more they inbred, the worst pups were born. That’s when Sunrise’s mother, Frog came into play. She was not a high ranking wolf yet now she entered the game because all the royalty females were now onward with age and most of their daughters had health problems, some infertile even. So, low ranked females were allowed to “try their luck” and give a perfect pup to the pack to be gifted later on. But Frog was ambitious and refused to copulate with any of the males of the pack, demanding first royalty rights if she were to produce a worthy pup. Realizing where she aimed for and that her demand could soon be followed by more and more requests, the high ranked refused and still ordered her to follow all the other females’ doing.
But she did not give up so easily and refused. Refused and refused. And the more she did, the more seasons passed and the more she’d go on with age, resulting in a higher possibility of problems during birth, if she’d ever gotten pregnant again. Why care so much for just one female? Because it wasn’t just her. Just like the high ranking wolves feared, other females followed Frog’s example. She basically set up a revolution within the pack and all the females saw her almost as a leader. At some point, the royals had to give up and grant their requests, but for this alliance that they could have later shoved it up in the faces of the packs that turned their back on them, it was worth it.

Being born
And it was. Although the pups were mostly problematic and so, could not be chosen to be gifted to the ally pack, one seemed to be fit enough for the role. And his mother was nonetheless but Frog. It is speculated, just rumors she’ll say, that Frog sneaked out seeking for a male that did not come from Glenug, sure that, with a different genetic pool, maybe the pup would be more healthy and resistant. But because this would be treason by the law of Glenug, let’s just say that the pup’s father was just one of the many males the pack could offer. From gave birth to quite a big litter but one of the boys looked bigger and more reactive than the others. The choice was made. He was named Sunrise because he was a sign of the sun finally rising on the pack of Glenug, for a new era of better times. As soon as Sunrise managed to take his first steps, he was set up for the journey to the far away ally. They could not waste any time because much already passed and now that the perfect gift arrived, they wanted to deliver it as soon as possible. He wasn’t sent alone of course, Frog was with him because he needed to be nursed and one of the strongest wolves was chosen, to grant the perfect protection so that the gift would be delivered without problems. Said wolf that went with the mother and the son, Seeft, offerent himself for said position. He didn’t really care for the due he was escorting, he coved a deep hatred for Frog, someone who didn’t know her place and forced those in a higher position than her to come down and her hear her requests. If it was for him, Frog would have been kicked out of Glenug to avoid all the problems she caused. But he managed to control his temper towards her given how she, of all the females, was able to give birth to the chosen pup. The trip was longer than expected because Sunrise was still so young he couldn’t keep up with the adults’ pacing but they arrived at last. Seeft was so excited but for his own personal reasons. He in fact wanted to ask the pack to join them and live there, instead of returning to Glenug and, if there was a remote possibility that they said no, well he could always force Frog to shut her mouth and tell Glenug that he was given some sort of importance by the new ally, for bringing their gift in such perfect condition and thus he had to maintain this new rank even in Glenug. Either way, he was a winner!
So, you can all imagine Seeft’s shock when, once arrived in the lands of their ally, he and Frog discovered that the pack was no more. Disbanded. Gone. Seeft had built all his future based on that pack, it was outrageous that now he would return to Glenug empty handed! Frog, however, had different plans. She cared for Glenug no more, it didn’t matter if she gained a better position thanks to her persistence and for the birth of Sunrise, she was ready to set off with her son back, take her other children and find a better place to live. Glenug wasn’t worth anything anyway, it was just a place of vain and idiots. But Seeft didn’t let her. He was so filled with anger seeing his life vanish in the blink of an eye that he decided that he would still get what he wanted, with his second option in Glenug. All he had to do, was to dispose of the pup, to make it look like they delivered him and return home with Frog to testimony all of it. If they sent scouts to reach the ally after a while and found nothing, well Seeft would simply say that it must have gone after they left the pup. How could he even think Frog was fine with this plan is a mystery and as soon as she noticed how Seeft was glaring at her son, she realized something was wrong. She picked up Sunrise and ran as fast as she could, with the hope to find a pack to ask for help.

Seeft was fueled by anger and ambition and he soon caught up with her, just when Frog’s nostrils sensed a border scent, faint which meant she was still dangerously far from it. Seeft clamped his jaws on her ankle and she slammed on the ground, her eyes fixed on the mountain in front of her that would lead her and her son to safety. But as she turned to see where Sunrise fell, with horror she watched as Seeft was with him. The most horrifying event happened next, Frog frozen in fear and disbelief watched as Seeft ripped away one of Sunrise’s legs. She didn’t even think it twice and launched herself on the brute, him losing the grip on the now severed leg. Frog knew she was no match against Seeft so she lured him as close as the river that was flowing, grabbed his scruff and pulled him in the water with her.
While Frog braced herself and took a deep breath, Seeft was caught by surprise and after a few moments, she saw him stop struggling, with no more bubbles coming out his mouth and nose. He was a lifeless lump of fur, his lungs filled with water. While she still had life within her, her strengths were completely gone and Frog wasn’t able to fight the running current. But at least her son was alive, forever scarred but living. Giving how close to the pack’s border they were, she made as much noise as she could while keeping Seeft away from Sunrise. Frog hoped that her yowls, screams and howls might have caught the attention of one of the pack’s wolves, that would find her son and save him for good. She did not want to think all of this had been in vain.
And indeed, a white figure, though blurry through Sunrise’s tear-filled eyes, approached, having heard all the concitation…

She didn’t even think it twice and launched herself on the brute, him losing the grip on the now severed leg. Frog knew she was no match against Seeft so she lured him as close as the river that was flowing, grabbed his scruff and pulled him in the water with her.
While Frog braced herself and took a deep breath, Seeft was caught by surprise and after a few moments, she saw him stop struggling, with no more bubbles coming out his mouth and nose. He was a lifeless lump of fur, his lungs filled with water. While she still had life within her, her strengths were completely gone and Frog wasn’t able to fight the running current. But at least her son was alive, forever scarred but living. Giving how close to the pack’s border they were, she made as much noise as she could while keeping Seeft away from Sunrise. Frog hoped that her yowls, screams and howls might have caught the attention of one of the pack’s wolves, that would find her son and save him for good. She did not want to think all of this had been in vain.
And indeed, a white figure, though blurry through Sunrise’s tear-filled eyes, approached, having heard all the concitation…
