i started this last year, but put it away unfinished because a college portfolio reviewer told me that i couldnt have anything copied from a photograph. so i thought 'well, shit' and forgot about it until a week ago. feldor told me that promenade was coming up and i had to put something in (i feel mighty special cuz only 3 pieces per school are allowed to be entered.) and i dont know what to ennter, and he said 'how about bruce?' hopefully ms brock and reid the tool will agree with him that its worthy. if not, then i dont know what ill enter, cuz the bones piece went in last year.hand built scratchboard, about 40 or 45 hours total, 16x20

I think people are too easy to please sometimes with artwork, sometimes its just easy for them to say WOW without looking correctly. Its a nice picture for sure, but its barely a likeness to Bruce Lee is it if we're honest? I see a hint of Leonard Nimoy in there *Spock from Star Trek*. Not taking anything away from you, i'm just offering a little more of thought before typing the obvious *pleaser* comments. Hope you appreciate my honesty. But again, as a piece of art aside from Bruce Lee, time well spent, keep it up, just pay a little more attention maybe to the bigger picture.

i think bruce would, just becuase he's so much more versatile than jet. and plus, he invented his own style of martial arts. i think thats pretty spiffy.

I might have to go with Jet Li, he learned Shaolin Kung Fu when he was 6, and he is an assload faster than Bruce, Bruce gives away his moves and yells to much, Li is the silent killer. But thats just me, i watch 2 much martial arts anyway.
