such a new take on a kitten! this is fantastic. his expression is mature and coy in a way that so sharply contrasts his youth that this photo really stands out. the color and focus are only additions to the wonder of this capture. fantastic.

in a technical sense, this piece beautifully exemplifies many of the elements of photography..

but just as a piece of art, there is such an earthy feel to it. the gaze is piercing, but not intimidating. the color is distant, but warm. the contrast is stark, but inviting.

Another great pic ... only comment (IMHO) would be maybe scrap the captions, let the pic speak for itself, and make the copyright really subtle (ie not bright white) ... bright white destroys the eye's contrast settings and makes picking up the details in dark toned works almost impossible ...
Great photo though!
