ours is....and is a 'no kill' shelter...meaning....that any cat/dog we get as long as it's healthy can stay till it's adopted. they're spayed/neutered/given shots and given regular health checks. and sadly? is completely run off of donations

my town takes absolutely NO responsiblity for their pets. we've only 12,000 people and we just busted up the FOURTH dog fighting ring in the last 2 years.....and the leader? was a guy i went to high school with. nobody is willing to spay/neuture their pets...no one wants to make sure they dont' go outside and possibly get feline aids/leukemia (yes...there is that for cats)........nobody wants to be responsible. they just want a 'cute cudly/strong tuff' pet/pets.

it is? but it is a money thing for low lifes. like cock fighting...it's inhumane...but people will still fight these animals to the death...for only a few dollars. the guy i knew was even known to kill the dogs he didn't think were 'strong/mean' enuf. unfortunately? this is very common in the United States.....grrrrrrrrr

they are...definately! but there is always the people who know how to hide......and hide well. i knew a guy in another state where it's illegal to have fighting roosters? who lived on a wildlife reserve...who'd think to look THERE for them?

lol...think these are called Tuxedo kitties........this one had 2 siblings that were completely different colors but they all had that white streak down the nose.
