Description FULL VIEW! IS A MUST ON THIS ONE!
some collected sketches from last winter/spring/summer. if anything looks strangely cropped (and I know everyone hates strange cropping) it's probably because
A. I drew it on a too small size in photoshop and never bothered to resize the "canvas".
B. because they needed to fit here.

tell me what you think all in all though and what you like and what not. but may I remind you all that these are sketches(and some aged sketches). and well sketches are for improving and so on.

and yes that is santa claus in a devil may cry pose, without any pants and with a right hand of doom.

i love everything you do man heh. but a question...some of those scetches are obvious they they are pencil but then some are like solid lines (the ones that are coloured) how do you get it from a scetch with a bunch of loose lines, to a nice neat thick line? like there are no stray sketching on them...how do you do it sir...?

i know adjust brightness/contrast and the whole levels thing but when i do thatobviously i still have stray sketching marks but are even darkernow...heh

thanks man. it's good to hear it pleases someone
anyways that's a decently easy question
A:
they actually come as they are. the ones with solid lines(how insanely crazy that might sound) just come out that way. you wouldn't believe how much time it has taken me to be able to sketch out directly with thick lines heh. but yeah some are just rough and loose so that I can see it before me and then fill it in. whilst others practically are that way from the start.
however on this particular page everything is digital sketching
I find it easy to find sketches as I scroll on a computer rather than having to enter the overloaded pile of paper sketches that I have created.

duuuude... this stuff is sick! sick as in crazy-good, admiration-worthy sick. hahah, I like, I like! it's great to see how you stretch your style, and all the random, fun things floating around in your head being put to paper.. best way to exercise your skills!

ow thanks! I like variation. and I love drawing, trying new motives. keeping myself challenged and with variety I hope. lately I've been trying to conjure up a worthy fanart of spawn. once I get my recent paper sketches together I'll throw em out here
and yeah there used to be alot more in my head actually... I could fill a sketch book in about two weeks with pure material. not ome small doodle in the corner either. I'm talking full out sketches of anything and everything. as it is now I've slowed the pace down but I have better quality. (sorry for the blah).
but yeah thanks.

i likes the robot and hell boy. nnn the people's legs are too skinny for me but it's your style not mine so spiffyness for you. i likes teh sketchyness.

sausage-of-joy In reply to kecharakittie [2005-09-17 08:27:28 +0000 UTC]

no offence but that's kinda dumb saying their legs are too skinny since I think it's way obvious that I didn't aim for any real proportions here.
also "spiffyness for you"?
and the sketchyness... well they're SKETCHES DAMMIT!
and thanks.

XD iono. i like sketchyness and i know it's obvious but nnnnn iono. i don't like really skinny legs. not that my opinion on that really matters, i just couldn't help blurting it out. sorry. >.>;

sausage-of-joy In reply to kecharakittie [2005-09-17 13:01:21 +0000 UTC]

it's a matter of taste that's all. but speaking about what you like won't really improve anything now will it
seriously though you get the point. people always confuse critique and personal taste. I'm sure you didn't but the fact that you blabbed it out made me thinking that you didn't.
nevermind. simple facts that's all... and a bitchy me.

lol. oh, i understand the difference between critiquing and personal opinions, which is why i said i didn't like it, instead of telling you the legs were off and you could fix 'em.

that's pretty gross... its just an acronym for my comic book. Something A Go Go. the beauty of language eh!
Sausage of Joy could have a few different meanings here in Canada... which creeps me out whenever I swing by your gallery.

yeah there was a drawing to go with that name once... in the beginning of the sausage of joy.
there was even an avatar. on with a sausage and a bubble sayying "ME" pointing at it. and then there was some some wrincled man smiling very disturbignly and a fork with a damned happy sausage right next to him.... or more like in his face rubbing but NONETHELESS! there WAS a sausage of joy sometime way back.
