From Left to Right:Psalm, Kross, Wilh, Jackson, Trip
Sanzaru Brothers Character Line-Up! Woot!
So, since I'm only in one OCT currently, I thought it'd be a good time to do some better character outlines for The Sanzaru Brothers comic. SO FAR IS THEM BOYS
I really need to get their form and faces down better, and explore coloring some more. Hopefully this exercise helps?
Ffff. I just realized how awkwardly skinny Trip looks next to Jackson. AH WELL.

My only concern is how dark your darks are. The details are getting lost in the shadows and I bet it's hard to see for people with especially odd settings on their computer screen.

Jeremiah was a TV show that my mom and I recently finished watching. Its kind of like a post-apocalyptic version of earth. The premiss is that the government created a virus that wiped out all the adults on Earth and left all the kids alone to rebuild. Jeremiah and Kurdy are two of those; they're basically helping rebuild the world.
Its an interesting series.

First off, I think it's really good that you can tell who's who extremely easily, not just because of skin color, height, and hair, but because of body type, face shape, and such. By their postures, I can get a fairly good insight onto their personalities; Kross seems a bit uncaring, Wilh as bull-headed as always, Jackson the most stoic and serious of the three, and Trip...being Trip. I can't really pinpoint anything wrong with it other than suggesting using very, and I mean very, subtle highlights, especially since human skin is surprisingly reflective in certain types of light. Trip's left arm where the upper arm and forearm connect seems a bit too cinched, like a curvy woman's waist. Maybe making the curves of it slope more subtly, as well as widening it just a smidgen, would fix it.
(You have no idea how difficult it was to write that critique and try to find flaws. щ(≖益≖щ ))

You mean the arm not holding the cigarette with Trip, right? I need to fix that, then - and also the highlighting (color still hates me XD). I also need to actually design Trip's tattoos and stop bs'ing them...
And thanks for the awesome review XD I;m so worried lately about not making characters unique enough to be recognizable, especially in the face. And I like how you described all of them perfectly XDDDD AND THE BIGGEST FLAW IS THE SKETCHY THAT STILL PERVADES EVERYTHING I DOOOOO

Yup, that arm. I tend to refer to the character's sides than the viewer's. Like, Trip's left arm; the one the viewer sees as right.

They are rather awesome! Jackson seems to have grown since his reference. But that could have been the angle we were looking from. Trip and Wilh are probably my favorites, probably cause of facial hair. But, I like!
