I draw that on another layer, blend it, and difference the layer mode ( example I make it to screen ) so you are getting that effect ^^

so I opened a new canvas on paint tool sai and doodle an eye as I follow the instrictions, and I'm not very happy with th outcome. But I don't give up. I opened a new canvas which was bigger than the first one, then I pasted the eye onto it. With more and more doodling, layering, and shading, This was the outcome.

You're so welcome! Looks good, indeed a bigger canvas ( I recommend 2000PX + and 300 DPI )
Mostly the first tries are bad, but the second always show improvement. I know for sure the next time they will look even more better and the try after that try even more!

Yeah sorry about that haha. But yeah it is also a personal preference. I don't want to tell people how to do it, you know. If it works fine for them, why would I try to change it.
But indeed, for the most people, a bigger canvas is great. But I also know friends who make their canvas around 6000 PX, for me, that's way toooo big, also because I don't have the best PC in the world.
Size also depends on that, if you have a terrible PC, don't try to make the canvas bigger then 1000, but if you have a good PC, well try to keep it between 3000/6000, it really depends on so much things.
