Today is Thanksgiving and here's the second version of my water-loving OC, Veronica Williams, making pumpkin pie for her cooking channel underwater, but with a camera recording view screen added.

It was nearly Thanksgiving and Veronica Williams has cooked some food for the holiday in the kitchen for her and her girlfriend, Tracey Latice. Yet, she had extra ingredients and food for her underwater cooking channel and each week in November, she demonstrates how to cook a Thanksgiving dinner underwater in the swimming pool's deep end, with the help of Tracey who filmed the whole thing, set it up and cleaned up after. And a few days before Thanksgiving, Vern and Trace set up the table in their pool with ingredients for making a pumpkin pie like milk, eggs, pie mix, butter and flour. Once the table was set and they have ankle and belt weights on, Vern and Trace took many deep breaths and dive in the deep end. Soon, Trace starts filming Vern, who's only wearing an apron, making the pie as she bubbly speaks to the camera while mixing the ingredients. In-between their filming, Vern and Trace would take quick breaks to surface for more air and continue the cooking, even after staying under for nearly 15 or 20 minutes each (and sometimes, Trace would stay behind to film the table for extra shots as Vern gets some air). Once Vern finished mixing, she'd bring out a fake pie to show it's done and would end by thanking her viewers for watching and blowing a bubbly kiss to the camera. Vern edits the whole show herself, taking out scenes of her and Trace surfacing and diving, using Trace's shots of the table between their breaks for air and add subtitles when she speaks, and including her intro and outro with some subtle background music. And after she renders and uploads her video, Vern and Trace spend their Thanksgiving together in their dining room, having a Thanksgiving dinner from their kitchen.
