Hope I don't offend anyone! I must hate fat people!But on a serious note, I heard about the situation withΒ Zamii070, and I do wish her well. I can say for a fact that many artists, even myself, have dealt with people insulting us for drawing a certain character differently. But, going so far as to encourage someone into suicide, is wrong. And I heard that Zamii has psychological problems, so this was a big deal to her when people (mainly the SJWs) insulted her work. Thank goodness she survived.
Many at this point said that because of this, the Steven Universe fandom has become toxic. But honestly, to me, the SU fandom has always been extreme at certain times before this.Β I understand not every fan of Steven Universe is like this, and I know that there are crazy fandoms out there, but this was rather sad news I heard.

The thing is, the art isn't even offensive. As an overweight woman myself (Based off official pictures, rose would be the same weight as me in real life), I found nothing offensive about her picture. It was actually quite adorable! I hate when the tumblr-tards say they speak for the "oppressed fat people" when they're really just making things bad. I don't need them to flip out for me. They don't need to flip out at all! I'm just hoping that zamii gets better and gets over this. The people who did this to her are literal wastes of human life.

This looks great! I don't see the problem with artists drawing Rose skinny. Unless they're willing to acknowledge that Rose is, indeed, not thin in the original show, have nothing against that, and are just doing this for fun, then it's cool. However, if the artist literally detests Rose's weight and draws her slim so she looks more "attractive" that's when there's a problem :/

I have this theory that this is what Rose looked like when she was young. I always saw her as an oddity of her Gem type, so she could have originally had a much slimmer build than a quartz normally would.
