You ever been to, say, a family wedding and you're not even IN the wedding (which might be fun) but your mom makes you wear a stupid dress that's got stupid ruffles and it's super-itchy but you can't take it off and you have to sit still the whole time and THEN just when you think it's over OH NO there's a RECEPTION and you still hafta wear the stupid dress and your relatives won't let you eat the cake until you dance with your stupid cousin and you HATE dancing and your dress and attention but your cousin's all "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT US I CAN DANCE!" and so you're stuck on the dance floor while everybody's taking pictures and cooing over how cute you are and it's SO EMBARRASSING?BECAUSE THAT CERTAINLY DIDN'T HAPPEN TO ME WHEN I WAS SEVEN.
Stupid Cousin Will Braeburn. You're making this party miserable for little me Applejack.

I got out of dressing up by always going to Mass with my dad- he went on Saturday nights because he was always on call on Sunday morning, which is when my mom and siblings went.

The only time I've been to a relative's wedding I was a junior bridesmade, and I didn't stand still why my cousin was saying her vow and stuff and my mom frowned at me xD But then the reception was on a boat, which was cool, and I got to take off my shoes so I was happy...
