Let me explain- the White Power Ranger from Mighty Morphing Power Rangers is taken from a completely different sentai season then the other rangers. They are from Zyuranger, as is the green ranger. These bad ass looking mother f***ers are the Dairangers.You know the Thunder Zords? They belong to these guys.
Why didn't they use these costumes? They're awesome!

Yeah,watched Zyuranger and almost most of the episodes are filled with nothing but saving KIDS!! I can't stress that enough. I'm beginning to wonder why these Sentai purists say that "Zyuranger is better than MMPR". Plot element wise,yes but characters,the teenagers at least are on screen the whole time while the Zyurangers are barely on screen!!

Heck,in Zack's Birthday,there are a ton of cool moments like when Ernie mentions Batman and Jason hides the fact cleverly from Ernie and Zack,feeling bummed says something not a lot of people would think like 'They're just thinkin' about their own lives.' after he feels bad that everyone forgets about him and moves on which is deep stuff. A little psychological lesson but its a good way to teach kids that not everything or everyone is that nice in the world but in Zyuranger,there's no cleverness in the writing. Goushi has a backstory,so what?! If the character development goes to the kid,who cares about yer backstory? Mei is thinking of her tribe's flowers when looking...ok,I'm not gonna be hard on Mei,she does have a character because she was taught like that so there's one..no,2 characters we care about,Burai and Mei only and that's it. Everyone else is just one-dimensional and cardboard-esque.

I think the writers and producerswanted to keep some continuity since they already changed the Zords and the villains for season two. They were probably worried they might lose viewers if they changed too much at once so they kept the Zyuranger suits for two more seasons. Now that I know about Dairangers, I can only imagine how they could've been used in Power Rangers (it could have been awesome), but I won't say I wouldn't miss the Zyuranger suits when I was a child.

Fans are really split on that. One half think it's great the Dairanger suits are finally being used in PR, while others are ticked off that they are throwing, not just Dairanger, but also Pre-Zyuranger Super Sentai suits that didn't appear in Power Rangers. I'm not going to say which side I am on but either way, yes it is a little weird.

This is the team Gosei Sentai Dairangers... who kick SOOOO much hardcore ass it's not even funny.
I mean for fucksake, each member uses a different style of Chinese martial arts, as well as having a special power as well:
Ryo of the Heavenly Fire Star (Red)= Dragon Fist style and had the power to well... shoot FUCKING FIRE!
Daigo of the Heavenly Illusion Star (Green)= Hung Ga and had the power to create illusions.
Shoji of the Heavenly Gravity Star (Blue)= Long Fist style and had the power to manipulate the gravitational forces around him, thus increasing either his strength or speed.
Rin of the Heavenly Wind Star (Pink)= Eagle Style and had the power of Wind... and could use it to BLOW A FUCKING BOULDER UP!
and finally the most badass one of the bunch: Kazu of the Heavenly Time Star (Yellow)= MOTHERFUCKING DRUNKEN BOXING and had the ability to freeze and reverse the flow of time to prevent mishaps. YES.... I shit you not.. he REALLY does use Drunken Boxing in the series and it is FUCKING GLORIOUS!!!!!!
Also the mechs for the teammates are based on Chinese mythology, but that doesn't really help people who watch Power Rangers as they don't really change that MUCH... except ironically for Blue and Yellow.
Yellow's 'zord' is based on a Kirin this: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… so that explains why the ever-loving FUCK a griffon has horns.
Blue's 'zord' is based on a Tenma... basically a Chinese version of a Pegasus, which explains the wings that are stickered onto the side of the toys main body.

when I saw these suits, i thought two things:
1. these probably would've fit the original team better since it's more martial arts based than zyuranger.
2. these would've been perfect to use for when lord zedd tried to create his own evil team of power rangers
