I beat pokemon Gold version with Pidgeot as the highest leveled pokemon on my team so it is pretty good at battling

I do like using Pidgeot in battles. In the earlier games, when there were less birds, Pidgeot might've been pretty good, but with the introduction of others, such as Staraptor(Staraptor doesn't come close to Pidgeot as a favorite of mine), it's kind of... well... It has decent defense stats, I guess.
