Description
Game Name: Kid Icarus: Hera's CurseConsole: Wii U & 3DS
Genre: Rail Shooter/3rd Person Shooter
Brief Description: Pit has been transformed, and by Lady Palutena's own step-mother! After being defeated again Medusa decides to get revenge by tricking Hera into placing a curse on Pit, changing him into a girl. It looks like it affected his dark doppelganger as well. Now she must go though several trials to clear her name and lift the curse.
This game would take the same gameplay as Kid Icarus Uprising, each level having a 5 minute rail shooter and then a 3rd-person shooter/platformer section.

~Yay! It's finally done!
So here's my entry for the TG Video Game contest. ~So I decided to do Kid Icarus because it's based on Greek mythology. Also in Greek mythology is the story of Tiresias, where he's changed into a woman by Hera for killing a pair of mating snakes. Seeing how Medusa has snakes in her hair, I thought I could get it to work. |D Also Palutena is based off of Athena, who was born from Zeus, so technically Hera would be her step-mother.
~Anyway, I hope you like it. It was a lot of hard work, but I hope it was worth it.
~I'm gonna leave you off with some fun facts.
...Wade and I have never actually played a Kid Icarus game. xP
...We actually hate drawing angel wings. xP
...That Kid Icarus logo is actually a flash recreation and not the real thing. But that's easy to tell if you compare it.
...Palutena's bling is still a pain to draw.
~Also, nobody better tell me that I should have put more work into this, because I would have if I'd known that there would be an extension.

In the grand scheme of things, i'm not into this whole *Gender Bender* thing, but with Pit I actually quite enjoy it. nice work, I will say that.

Great job! But, I do have just one question. Why does Pit's hair grow when he becomes a girl? I mean, it looks handsome, but it just is a puzzle.

Pit and Pit are very cute in this. I'm also happy you drew all of Palutena's gold instead of opting for a bunch of squiggly yellow lines. I think yhe problem with this one is the piece doesn't look very much like a game cover or poster. It's just kind of tg pinups with a background. I do like your style and consider you one of the 'rising tg artists' I hope you'll try again next time when the theme will be more suited to your talents.

~Thanks. ^^ Let's see, a Rail Shooter is a Shooting Game where you don't control the path, sort of like your character is on a roller-coaster. In Kid Icarus Uprising, Pit is set on a fixed flight path, though you can still move him around and stuff.

I've never played any of the Kid Icarus games either. Never even heard of Kid Icarus until we played Super Smash.

So, is it just me, or did they have a lot more myths about changing gender in the past? And why don't we hear about it these days? Is it taboo or something? I know I'd have liked to hear about this kind of thing more when I was a kid! Sometimes western society can be so weird about gender...

Hundreds? More like thousands. Then it goes underground for a few thousand years and resurfaces today, like it was being suppressed or something...I blame patriarchy.
Yeah, I'll probably blame it a lot. Patriarchies don't like people like me, because we embrace the feminine, and that's supposed to be weak, and suppressed...and stuff. Okay, so maybe I get a bit weird about it.
Anyway, no need to go deeper into it. I have my own ideas about that, and I'm just glad we're finally fighting back against ideas like this. We're making progress! Acceptance for all! Rainbows for everyone!

lol i played Kid icarus Uprising and i despised the Third person shooter sections but i loved the RailSohoter sections XD it reminded me of Star Fox 64
