Except... I don't have a wall to call my own.

A bedsheet! A giant white one. It would be a tapestry.

But there is.. or at least.. It's not how I want to be.
It was ok for a while, but it's so draining...
The in-between of it all. Existing without base.. no place to go to, no safe haven to re-group from.

The in-between. Why must everything in life feel like limbo, this awful in-between stretching sinew from limb to limb, life to life? I have this place--this base--but god, I know what you mean, I feel it fiercely--
Thought. Do we ever feel the same things? Really intensely, I mean, at the exact same moment. I feel we must. And for one of us it's response to stimuli and the other doesn't know where the sudden feeling came from. Like maybe Tassja pops out of nowhere and scares me to death and suddenly you see this crazy flash of black and white cat before your eyes even though you're playing in the rain or reading Henry Miller or something completely rational like that. What do you think?

Of course you do, because I feel it.
It surprises me, and then I Know it's You.
Sometimes shaddows look like people I know from your photo's...
or the time (last year) somebody was sawing white PVC pipe above me and it was snowing tiny flakes of plastic... about the time (you later informed me) it started to practically blizzard in Cary. (I thought of it last week when Dad was sawing pipes)

Then you see it, don't you? Nothing can ever keep us apart. While we have that.

I'm a sucker for the fading, it makes it look like this is on an object bending, like a paint job of sorts.

Amateur or not, when you're messing around in a nice program like illustrator it's bound to look decent. Much better than messing around in paint.

No color. That was a parameter of the assignment... But I wanted to make the burst in the upper left hand corner light blueish.
