Just so you know, you are my first favourited A Song of Ice And Fire/Game of Thrones fanart. The Targaryen storyline is probably my favourite one of the lot, and I love the awesome pose you put Dany in here, she looks like she could kill her opponents with one glare. Brilliant work!

If you remove the dragon, it could be a great portrait of a girl with Pyrokinesis power
cause the the contrast between the color of her skin and the fire is splendid
maybe a darker bakground?

The detail on the dragon is making me drool and her expression is spot on, but I have to agree with you on the composition.
If you plan on working on it some more, maybe move the dragon up to where he's level with her head? They have some what long necks so you could probably make a "c" shape with him to bring the eye back in.
