entry #10 in The 50 Fantasy Creatures Challenge!
Nature raged and cast forth
her vengeance in her strangest
and most formidable forms.
Enthralling in her beauty,
her justice, deadly.
If a fairy has insect wings, why shouldn't
there be more insect influence for the rest
of it's body? that's what i was aiming at.
not enough, though... maybe i should've
added a carapace somewhere on the torso..
the electricity was an afterthought.. hehe

What a great concept... my son just told me this past winter that he saw little blue sparks from the static in the blankets, how he'd never noticed before... made me think of that when I saw this... I'm going to tell all the kids that it's static fairies now... Awesome work.
