long time no update.I loved to draw ships and naval battles when I was a kid, so this is somewhat a "revamp" of a collection of older works no longer existing.
I borrowed the title from the great pirate metal band Running Wild. Ahoy.

I'm just in awe!! Staggering detail yet great clarity of design. You balance all that noodly structure with great freshness and gesture. If I tried a scene like this it would become way to stiff. I'm beyond impressed!

Why didn't i see this earlier? Aw man, this is really exciting. I'm really drawn to the water, though that may be because I imagine it is difficult to paint. Looks great!

Thanks! The water wasnยดt that difficult but it turned out to look a bit shallow.
Maybe I should have made higher and more translucent waves. Also the middle ship could have been pushed back a bit via less saturation/contrast.
