------==[ 1946-48 Plymouth Coupe ]==------

HDR rendering of a car that I found abandoned behind an old barn on the outskirts of town. I don't know the make, model, or year of this car, but I do intend to find out. Oh yeah, check out the bullet holes!

Thanks, I am glad that you like the photo. HDR is short for high dynamic range. It is a style of photography that requires you to take multiple photographs, each time using a different exposure. You then use a photo editor such as photoshop,or photomatix to combine each exposure into one photograph. You can do many other things such as alter tonal mappings which bring out the bright and dark contrasts between the varied photographs. Here are several websites that you might find beneficial. They covers HDR photography in depth and also include basic tutorials showing how to use photoshop to create HDR photographs.[link] and [link]

Definately a 1946-48 Plymouth!

This body was also used for the Canadian market Dodges, just with a special grill and trim!

Great shot!

that's a great find, i'm 99% sure it's a '48 plymouth coupe, maybe even a "special deluxe" business coupe, which would make it fairly uncommon.
