Nixy had always been a flamboyant creature. In her past life she had always liked human attention. They loved to swim close to her, and sometimes they rubbed her head and patted her carapace. But the thing Nixy liked most about humans was their tools. They made the weirdest things to help them travel through the water. They called them ships. Some ships didn't stay above water well, obviously, but Nixy didn't complain about it. In fact, she loved these sunken ships. She loved to explore them when she was younger and this curious habit would be the death of her. She's already old now, her body too large to explore inside the sunken ships. Now she could only swim around it and observe from the outside.
