Description For 0.7 seconds, a small sun burst into howling life in the heart of Ativa, crown jewel of Kuvis.

It burned retinas, shattered lenses, drove augurs-servitors into machine-madness and turned millions to dust, blasting rockcrete to ash and plasteel to molten waste. It carved a blazing eye visible from orbit and even the Warp with pure atomic fusion and the death-scream of an entire city.Β Within hours of the city's destruction, the resistance launched a massive counter-offensive and took the scattered Imperial forces by complete surprise, effectively routing them. The planetary government is in ruins, loyalist forces are all but destroyed, and the planet begins descending into shadow.

A glimmer of hope emerges from the rubble.

A commission for . It's been a long time since I put this amount of effort into a single piece, yet it's as smudged and unclean as ever.

Addendum: I did not trace this. Referred to The Last of Us, but no tracing. I don't like tracing, makes me feel even more untalented than I already am.

I really like this one. I can see the Last of Us inspiration here, but you did a really good sort of take on that without it being a carbon copy. The girl appears fairly innocent and you drew her expression well and the background is damned good.

Did you trace this? Because it looks awful lot like the cover of The Last of Us...

No, I did not. I used the cover of the game as a cover because the person who requested it specifically asked it to resemble The Last Of Us. My tracing days are far, far behind me.

Well, It would be better to note this in the description, since that is not obvious.

Looks good. If you were drawing on a white piece of paper, try re-scanning it. Another option is to adjust the levels in photoshop.

Ah~ senpai noticed me~ *dies*

On a more serious note, it was on a white paper, and this was the best the scanner could do T_T
