Description Another commission for on capalls.

This is her fursona looking at his reflection in a dark wood. One of the things Pinto said was "Who is this strange horse staring back up at him? Is he friend or is he foe?"
So I tried my best to incorporate that.

I tried to do the cut out like leaves but I'm not too sure it worked o__o

This was very challenging and I spent almost 3 hours on just trying to get the horse to blend with the forest. Haaaard!

I hope you like it Pinto! Let me know if something needs to be changed

the shading is tremendously gorgeous! I love how you added value to the stomach, so that the ribs are slightly vasiable but not scary, to make it look like a well-sprung horse! I alos love how you did the reflection and the water. It's a beautiful piece of work. You should be proud of your immense skill!

I think i might just change my name to pinto ._.
something about the hardness of the shading is attractive.
i dont think it would have the same feel if it was smooth, ya know?
and i love the blue reflecting onto his face and legs and belly.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think the more pixel the background, the harder the shading can be without looking too bad but that doesn't work in some cases

I'm glad you can see the blue, I have a hard time seeing it on my laptop

Well crap!
I am so jealous of Pinto right now! @_@

Perhaps some very subtle green across the barrel of the horse and not just the top would help it blend in a little more, as well as some yellow from the background on the highlights in the mane.

I'm not sure, I'm tired and too busy staring at the awesomeness that is this tag!

I had more green on the horse at first but it started looking pretty weird. I think I needed a different shade of green.
