Description This is a painting I did a while ago now, and it's quite big so I had to take a photo, which doesn't do the colours justice...
It was based on a line I read while researching WW1 trench warfare of all things...something about feeling as if you are walking through a garden of strange plants.....

so here is my strange garden....

Interesting that such a bright and surreal scene was inspired by something from World War I. Good job, I'm sure it truly does look more fantastic in its full colorful glory. Good job!

What an interesting forest, very strange and unearthly, but it makes me so curious. This reminds me of something that would happen in Miyzaki's movies Cool! I wish I were good with water color ^3^

aww thanks! This is a place I wish existed!!! sooooo much... and watercolours are pretty fun and easy!! Just play around with them and you can easily get some cool effects!

It was a very good idea to leave some of the shapes white, it allows the picture to breathe and the eye to rest, while gazing at all those details.

Oh wow, this is beyond amazing! I love the little white rabbit thingies, I want one.
The colours are brilliant and I love all the ideas you have squeezed in there. Busy pictures are the best and you definately pulled it off, great work!
