A while back I drew a mind flayer as a 90's inspired skater girl... my friend drew one as well...anyways the RNG gods selected this character for me to draw and instead of just drawing her again I decided to redesign her to be out of the DnD lore and be one of my own alien species instead. I have 2 possible designs. one is based on the cartoony ocean people from an old mermay entry. and an octopoid piloting an robotic torso.
