Description
This young crocodile of about 2 metres length was swimming along side our tour boat for a little while at Yellow Water in Kakadu National Park, Australia.

He/she is an estaurine crocodile (otherwise known as saltwater crocodiles) and is very dangerous. We saw a larger one at 3.8 metres a little later.

This is part of my Top End series from a two week holiday in the dry season. For those outside Australia, the 'Top End' is the area in the Northern Territory near Darwin. The area includes some pretty amazing places including the world heritage listed Kakadu National Park, Arnhem Land, the Litchfield National Park and Nitmilik National Park to name a few.
